Kevin-Prince Boateng has completed the surprise loan move to La Liga giant Barcelona for the rest of the season.
The Ghana international joins the Camp Nou club on an initial loan deal with an €8 million purchase option.
The former Tottenham, and AC Milan forward joins from Serie A side Sassuolo.
Despite born in Berlin, Germany, Boateng holds a dual German-Ghanaian citizenship.
The 31-year-old becomes the first Ghanaian to play for the club.
He has faced Barcelona eight (8) times — six (6) with AC Milan, and two (2) with Las Palmas, and scored two (2) goals in all.
He will wear the number 19 shirt with the name ‘Prince’.
