My Collaboration with ex-convict Buju Banton won’t Affect my Brand Negatively — Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy has reacted to his collaboration with Jamaican raggae/dancehall musician Buju Banton.

According to the Burniton Music Group lead act, working with the ex-convict on the same song will not affect the Stonebwoy brand negatively.

He told Andy Dosty on Hitz 103.9 FM that he has also been to the courtroom on several occasions.

The ‘Kpoo Keke’ hitmaker also added that despite being behind bars, Buju Banton filled the stadium with his Long Walk to Freedom concert in March, when he was released.

“We all go court aaaa,” he said on the Daybreak Hitz on Wednesday.

“This ex-convict came out of prison wey edey fill the stadium, recording with him won’t affect my brand in anyway,” he added.

He believes that the West understands these things and that “If people didn’t [make] mistakes, there wouldn’t be cells.”

Both Stonebwoy and Buju Banton met at the Afro Nation music festival in Portugal last week Thursday.

The songs, however, is yet to be released.

GhEntertainers will keep you posted on this collaboration.
