Chief Executive Officer of Slip Music, Mark Okraku-Mantey says BET Award-winner, Sarkodie spewed a lot of unwarranted stuffs in his ‘Kanta’ track directed at M.anifest.
Speaking on Hitz FM, Okraku-Mantey said a line in the song which says,“Obi bɛ disse me a na ɛnnyɛ rapper a ɔde GTP ntoma pam kaba” to wit, ‘if someone will diss me, certainly not a rapper who sews kaba with GTP textile’, shows that the Sarkodie does not understand brand equity.
‘Kanta’ is a cover of Desiigner’s Panda produced by Maticmusic. The song was released few days after M.anifest dropped ‘god MC’ which many music lovers are convinced it was directed at Sarkodie.
Meanwhile, artiste manager, Bulldog has described the song as a “true manifestation of a rap god”.
