Politician Jabs E.L over “Immature” TGMN16 Conduct

Alhassan Suhuyini, a presenter at Accra-based Radio Gold 90.5 FM has labelled Ghanaian rapper, E.L‘s conduct at the recently-held Ghana Meets Naija Concert as immature.

The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale North stated that the 2016 VGMAs Artiste of the Year could have gone freestyle during the glitch in order keep audience in an entertaining mood as Samini could have done.

“I could just imagine Samini going free style with the audience and entertaining them regardless of that hitch and perhaps as an icing on the cake walking off the stage when the sound was restored. That is what an artist of the year should be able to do.”

He also noted that the “Koko” hitmaker hitmaker “had no right to inflict his frustration on the audience who paid to be entertained.”

Below is an unedited message shared by the aspiring MP on his facebook wall:

I had no problem with EL beating Stonebwoy and Bisa K D to be artist of the year but I have a big problem with his immature conduct at the Ghana meet Naija concert. I watched him and discovered another reason why I think Samini is a legend. I could just imagine Samini going free style with the audience and entertaining them regardless of that hitch and perhaps as an icing on the cake walking off the stage when the sound was restored. That is what an artist of the year should be able to do. He had no right to inflict his frustration on the audience who paid to be entertained. He has become a Ghanaian brand and ambassador as artist of the year and his fans better tell him to get real because shxxt happens and being the best is not a walk in the park. It requires more than working with perfect systems.

The BBnZ Live act has in a separate interview admitted that he was not angry during the 35 minutes silence but was simply frustrated.
