‘S£x for Grade’ BBC Africa Eye Investigation

Over the years, there has been allegations of s£x for grades among students in most universities, across Africa.

In a move to ascertain the authenticity of this claim, BBC Africa Eye went undercover to investigate this.

The year-long secret investigative report brings to the fore, how some lecturers in West Africa’s most prestigious universities sexually harass female students.

The universities used in the investigation includes the University of Ghana, Legon, as well as the University of Lagos.

The report was led by BBC Africa Eye reporter Kiki Mordi.

Dr Paul Kwame Butakor of the University of Ghana, Legon was one of the lecturers caught on camera. One of his expressions that has gone viral is “let me be your side guy.”
