UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu has buoyed up Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Zylofon Media for taking the bold step to revolutionize showbiz in Ghana.
The ‘Baba’ singer’s comment comes after a private message was sent to the Zylofon Media boss who also shared on his Instagram page for a healthy deliberation from others.
In the message, the sender asked him to ignore the celebrities he has signed on to Zylofon Media, alleging that they will collapse his firm.
However, the gospel singer who also commented on the post noted that “Sir, you have started a revolution, u have challenged others , and brought hope to people .. see naturally , the supernatural will be at your aid , because you are a good man , as a man with a dream you carefully selected those you wanted and I believe you know why you did .. keep going … we admire you and when we grow we want to be like you … BADU.”
Zylofon Media has a list of Ghanaian music and movie stars signed to its respective labels — for music, they include Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, and Joyce Blessing while those in acting include Zynnell Zuh, Bibi Bright, Benedicta Gafah, James Gardiner and Toosweet Annan.
These acts, since they joined the firm have enjoyed some level of success in the Ghana music industry.
GhEntertainers.com sources reveal the CEO has a global vision and such comments from a user like that brings to light the disparaging character of a typical Ghanaian.
The relatively new but strides-making media outfit also operates Zylofon TV, and Zylofon 102.1 FM.
