Harriet Lamptey defies odds to win Miss UN Grand Prix 2019 in India

Miss United Nation Ghana 2019, Harriet Lamptey has won the Miss United Nations Grand Prix 2019 crown.

This was announced at the coronation gala for the United Nations Pageants World Finals 2019 held in Punjab, India on Saturday, November 9, 2019.

This brings to an end, several days of interesting activities, among delegates from over 30 countries around the world competed.

Miss Lamptey who won the sport challenge, was named among the top five talents, during the night which saw Australia’s Anika Shetty win the ultimate Miss United Nations 2019 crown.

Other category winners were Miss United Nation Earth, Miss United Nations Goodwill, and Miss United Nations Charity which went to Russia, India, and South Africa, respectively.

The contestants were under rigorous training sessions and judged on different merits like national costume round, interviews, charity work, portfolio, and attitude.

The United Nations Pageant World Finals was held at Shanti Devi Mittal at Lovely Professional University at Jalandhar- Delhi G.T Road, Phagwara, Punjab 144411.

It provides men & women the opportunity to come together regardless of their background and to build relationships with those who are working attentively to leave a positive impact in their community.

Whiles in India, the beauty queen paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Chancery at the Ghana High Commission to India, Mr. Eddison Mensah Agbenyegah.
