Kelvyn Boy: I Paid for 80% of my Music Videos at BMG

Kelvn Boy has stated that he paid for 80% of the music videos he shot during his spell at Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group (BMG).

According to the ‘Mea‘ crooner, Stonebwoy has been, and will always be his greatest hero.

He made this known in an interview on Accra-based Hitz 103.9 FM on Friday morning.

Debunking reports that he has been ungrateful to Stonebwoy, he noted that ‘although some of the videos I paid with my money, about 80% of it but it comes out with BHIM Nation tag. Because, I think he has helped me. The rest is me. At least he showed me how to fish,’ he said.

He also revealed that up till date, his label does not know where he stays.

Kelvyn Boy also affirmed that he is still working with Blakk CediStonebwoy‘s former manager, who has now been given a new portfolio as the reggae/dancehall musician’s agent.

‘Nothing has changed, it’s not like and old investor was there and that investor left. I’m still working with Blakk Cedi; he is still my manager,’ he said.

On September 24, 2019, Burniton Music Group, through Stonebwoy announced the exit of Kelvyn Boy from the label.
